This Pinot Noir from Germany stands out thanks to its perfect Maxchart and the surprisingly affordable price of under €10. The Wageck winery has been making a really enchanting Pinot Noir from the North Palatinate for years with the Pinot Noir foundation, which, according to the winery, has an aging potential of at least 10 years. This fresh red wine has an elegance and clarity typical of the variety, plus a delicate woody note that gives the wine a little more noblesse.
The magazine Weinwelt says about this great wine (vintage 2017): "Probably Germany's most complete Pinot Noir under ten euros comes from Bissersheim in the Palatinate. Drinking fun at a high level. Attractive cherry fruit, also some dark berries, spicy with a fine chalky undertone Grip and delicately sandy texture, the vanilla touch suits it well, juicy Pinot pleasure with fine acidic freshness."
