For lovers of fruity red wines, Ermelinda Freitas offers this alternative to Primitivo & Co. It is made from the Castelao grape native to Lisbon, plus 10% Syrah, both aged together in French oak barrels for four months.
An intense red wine with a ruby red colour, the aroma already indicates its fullness and concentration, it is voluminous on the palate, the tannins are hardly noticeable in the fruit. You can find a lot of charm here. Very good and downright sensationally cheap!
