Long before the first champagne house was even created, the monk Dom Thierry Ruinart had visions about wine with pearls. Champagne didn't exist yet, but it was already very popular with the nobility. Twenty years after his death, the nephew Nicolas Ruinart founded the first champagne house, which is still run by the Ruinart family with constant consistency. Whether with a reforestation project to regenerate the soil or to create new habitat for beneficial insects such as birds, ladybugs or bats, Ruinart not only keeps an eye on climate change, but also supports environmental protection with its sustainable winegrowing.
The Ruinart Chamgagner Bland de Blancs is a composition of 100% Chardonnay. It is particularly well-balanced thanks to the blend from the harvest of the last two years and its light golden color is reminiscent of the warm rays of summer sunshine. The Blanc de Blancs is pure, clear and refreshing in taste. Its suppleness and fullness are optically underlined by the constantly rising perlage.
On the nose, one notices fresh fruits such as white peach, apricot and mirabelle plum, which are paired with lime and grapefruit aromas. On the palate, this blend of Blanc de Blancs unfolds into an unforgettable pleasure. This gives the sparkling wine a long, very refreshing mineral finish. The Ruinart Champagne Blanc de Blancs is the perfect aperitif and goes well with all seafood, shellfish and white fish.
