Ruber, the name of this Nelles Pinot Noir comes from the latin term ruby red, which refers to the color of the wine. It is the winery's everyday Burgundy, has a fine structure and a beautiful fruit intensity with the best balance.
It is aged in used barrels, which hardly give off any aroma to the wine. The fruit plays the main role in Ruber Pinot Noir. Its scents are reminiscent of cherries, red berries and herbs. The Ruber is a universal food companion. From the cold platter to white and dark meat, to pasta and vegetable dishes, nothing is alien to him. Even fish with a more intense aroma, e.g. from the grill, fits. Try it.
