The Riesling trocken von der Terrasse 2022 from the Studier winery is a fruity type of Riesling that is in the upper dry range, so it has a charming character. This is supported by the ripe 2022 vintage, with its soft style.
It comes from the Ellerstadter Bubeneck vineyard, which is located on a steep, terraced southeast slope. The soils here are composed of pebbles and sandstones, which give the wine its mineral finesse.
The Riesling from the terrace has a light straw yellow color. Aromas of white peach, citrus fruits, especially grapefruit, develop in the nose. On the palate it is fresh and juicy with a fine acidity and mineral notes. The finish is long and has juicy fruit. Very typical of the grape variety.
The Studier Riesling trocken von der Terrasse 2022 is an ideal accompaniment to fish dishes, light braised dishes and salads. But it can also be enjoyed wonderfully on its own, for example as an aperitif or summer terrace wine.
