We have not yet had liter bottles in our range. However, with this wonderfully drinkable quality of the dry liter Riesling from Werther Windisch, we have to make an exception. Many significantly more expensive wines are not so wonderfully refreshing and aromatically clear. Extremely high fun factor and very fair price.
The Falstaff magazine awards sensational 90/100 points to the 2021 Riesling in a liter bottle and writes: "In the nose, the wine shows its youth with ice candy aromas from the fermentation, but there are also floral motifs. In the mouth, the wine has surprisingly good substance, a touch of fresh carbonic acid combined with the balanced play of sweetness and acidity creates drinkability. Very good wine."
