Real Agrado is located in Rioja Oriental, formerly called Rioja Baja. This eastern subzone is the coolest of the Rioja regions, which has become an advantage in times of climate change. Real Agrado has long been a supplier of grapes to large Rioja wineries. In 2005 the decision was made to produce the wines themselves and to market them under their own label, and a modern winery was built. Real Agrado only processes grapes from its own vineyards, so that you have quality control over all production steps.

The Real Agrado Crianza has an unusual vine composition for the Rioja, it consists of equal parts Tempranillo and Garnacha, which grow on calcareous clay soils in the La Lobera and Las Planes vineyards. The vines were planted in 1980 and 1992, so they are old enough to deliver the best quality. The expansion takes place 80% in American and 20% in French barriques, in which the Crianza matures for 14 months to perfection.

The Real Agrado Crianza has a bright ruby red color with violet reflections. Its scent is reminiscent of red and black currants, roasted aromas and milk chocolate. Due to the high proportion of Garnacha, this Rioja is particularly supple, well balanced and has a juicy and spicy impression in the long finish. A beautiful wine.
