The Pouilly-Fumé Tradition is the most important wine at Serge Dagueneau et Filles, in a sense the heart of the collection of this excellent family winery. It comes from various Sauvignon Blanc plots and is vinified traditionally, which here means fermentation and aging in steel tanks on the fine yeast.
With its mineral clarity and freshness as well as the fruity and exotic notes of Sauvignon Blanc, the Pouilly-Fumé Tradition is a very typical and qualitatively outstanding representative of its region. Its aroma spectrum ranges from grapefruit and gooseberries to the cool and mineral flint notes of the so-called "Terres Blanches" soil, which has a high lime content. A beautiful, highly elegant and very typical Loire white wine. Pure cool climate!
Serve this delicious Pouilly-Fumé with seafood, shellfish, grilled meat and the typical Loire goat cheese Crottin de Chavignol.
