The Pinot Noir grape variety, which in itself produces rather soft and fruity wines, is also grown by Feudi Arancio in warm Sicily, which further reinforces the impression of softness and fruitiness. This Pinot Noir is more lush than its brothers from the cooler growing zones of Central Europe, its aromas are fruitier, more in the direction of jam.
The Stemmari Pinot Nero is sometimes even treated for 6-7 months in used Barriques, which gives the wine a subtle spice and polish. This is not a given in this price range.
The Pinot Noir Stemmari has a rather dark ruby red color with violet reflections for this not particularly colorful vine. The expansive scent contains notes of blackberries and cherries, as well as a hint of spices and vanilla from the wood aging. The taste is dry, but with very soft tannins that are balanced with a pleasant fruitiness.
A versatile companion for meat dishes, pizza, pasta and BBQ. Also ideal for larger parties, as many people like this red charmer.
