The Unterebner is the top selection of Pinot Grigio from the Cantina Tramin, grown in particularly privileged vineyards Locations with south-east and south orientation. 2020 was a vintage with a long vegetation period, which had a positive effect on the aroma development of the grapes. The budding took place early, the further course was characterized by a few heat phases and cool nights. This gave us a multi-layered Unterebner with power and alpine freshness and plenty of pressure on the palate, which has aromas of pear, vanilla and toast (due to the partial aging in 500L tonneaux), hay and tobacco. It only comes onto the market after a total development period of 14 months. It is one of the best that can also be found in this grape variety and can age in the bottle for a few years, becoming even more complex aromatically.
