Tillington is the name of the individual layer at Nyetimber, which is expanded separately due to its unique character and quality. Three quarters are planted with Pinot Noir and one quarter with Chardonnay. This sparkling wine has a very fine bouquet reminiscent of strawberries and raspberries, with an elegant note of brioche. On the palate it impresses with its fine perlage, complex aroma depth and a long-lasting finish. That has real class!
The weather conditions in 2014 brought ideal conditions for top sparkling wines in West Sussex, so that the vintage was declared for the top products. The harvest began in the first week of October under very good conditions. The 2014 wines are characterized by lively acidity and intense fruit.
