The Edizione Bianco from Fantini is a white wine with a lot of flavor. Voluminous, opulent and juicy. Luca Maroni Style, who immediately gets his top mark 99/100 for this wine. It is also composed of three autochthonous grape varieties from the growing areas in which Fantini operates. The Pecorino from Abruzzo, the Fiano from Basilicata and the Grillo from Sicily. From all these, the best batches are selected and combined into the Edizione Bianco.
Since it comes from different growing areas, a vintage is not allowed on the label. Fantini therefore uses a consecutive number for each bottling. It is currently the No. 22, one can imagine what that means.
Even during the manual harvest, the best berries are selected and vinified separately. The Pecorino is matured in large wooden barrels, the Grillo and Fiano come from steel tanks.
The high maturity of the berries gives the wine exotic aromas such as mango, lime and papaya, as well as spicy notes such as mint, green tea and lemongrass. Its intense nature makes it a good accompaniment to hearty dishes such as cream sauces, crustaceans and mature cheeses.
