The term Mountain Wine from Malaga is not an attempt to be international, it is a historical term for the wines from these steep slopes, as used by Shakespeare and Alexandre Dumas. Telmo Rodriguez was fascinated by this historical wine landscape early on in his career and was also motivated to produce a dry version of this wine.
The Muscat d'Alexandrie(=Muskateller) grapes are perfect for the hot climate of southern Spain, as this variety hardly suffers from the drought. This white wine is fragrant, fresh and balanced. A characterful wine from the mountains of southern Spain.
