The Château Minuty 281, filled into these spectacular bottles, consists primarily of the Grenache Noir grape variety, with some Syrah added, which provides the spice in this rosé. The grapes come from Château Minuty's three main terroirs. They are all HVE certified (High Environmental Value), which guarantees environmentally friendly cultivation.
Careful hand-picking is standard here, an essential factor for quality. The Minuty 281 is a masterpiece of winemaking craftsmanship, an ultra-premium rosé from Jean-Etienne and François Matton.
The Côtes de Provence Château Minuty 281 has a pale pink color, typical of modern rosé wines. Its fresh scent is reminiscent of citrus fruits that go exotic, white currants, peaches and white pepper. On the palate it combines a remarkable intensity with an enchanting freshness and elegance. The reverberation is long-lasting and in perfect balance at ahigh level.
The winery recommends serving the 281 chilled (10-12°) rather than cold, so that its full spectrum of aromas comes into its own. Suitable dishes would be shellfish such as lobster, scallops, more intense salads, such as with avocado, Asian dishes such as curry or Peking duck are also recommended.
