The 1er Cru Bouchères is probably the least known top vineyard in Meursault. Located next to the Goutte d'Or and above the Poruzot, it is ideally and relatively steeply oriented to the east. The Meursault Boucheres wines are said to be similar to the wines from the upper part of the Genevrières top location. They are of high quality and have a remarkable ability to age, they are delicate and subtle at the same time, as a great white burgundy should ideally be.
The Meursault Premier Cru Bouchère from Les Parcellaires de Saulx has an intense and finesse-rich fragrance with notes of ripe citrus fruits, vanilla and white flowers. On the palate it is powerful, deep, mineral and also with a silky fullness in the very long finish. A great white Burgundy with long aging potential.
