The grapes for the Malbec Altitude come from the Gualtallary and Tupungato vineyards in Mendoza at an altitude of 1,300 meters. In the Altitude series by Andeluna, incidentally a neologism from the Andes and Luna (moon), more barriques are used than in the fruitier 1300 line. For the Malbec Altitude, there are French barriques, some new and some used, in which 70% of the wine is aged for 8-10 months, depending on the substance of the vintage and the type of wood used. The remaining 30% of the harvest is stored in steel tanks. After bottling, the wine is stored in the bottle for at least six months before it is delivered.

Andeluna's Malbec Altitude has a deep dark red color with violet hues when young. The aromas are reminiscent of black cherries, plums and blackberries, as well as coffee, vanilla and cocoa. On the palate it inspires with its strong body and beautiful density, the tannins are present, but well balanced in the intense fruit and the extract. Everything is very consistent in the long finale.
