The Marangona winery is located south of Lake Garda and belongs to the Cutolo family, who organically farm thirty hectares of vineyards here. Cultivation is as natural as possible; all wines are fermented spontaneously, i.e. only with the naturally present yeasts. The winery is one of the absolute top in the Lugana wine-growing region.

The Marangona Lugana Cemento, the name suggests, is fermented in cement vats and aged there for a year on the fine yeast. In addition, the wine is fermented on the mash, i.e. with the grape skins, which is unusual for a white wine and gives it a tannin structure like a red wine. The bouquet is intense and reminiscent of peaches and juicy pears and a hint of straw. On the palate it is grippy, has a subtle minerality and, despite all its power, an amazing freshness. A breathtaking Lugana.

The Lugana Cemanto is the premium wine from the Cutolo family, for which only the very best grape material is used. It is not made for wine connoisseurs who are looking for a pleasantly drinking white wine, it is for wine lovers who value tension and character, as well as complexity and aging potential.
