A magnum bottle is always something very special, especially with this content! The Barbaresco wines by Angelo Gaja are legendary and are among the icons of Italian viticulture. The Barbaresco without a vineyard designation is the foundation of this success. One of the greatest wines of this famous origin, made from the best Nebbiolo grapes from different locations, as has a long tradition in Piedmont.
In 2019 and 2020, due to the small harvest, Gaja did not separately bottle the three Barbareso single layers and added their grapes to the "normal" Barbaresco, which raises it above other vintages of this label. As always, matured in traditional large wooden barrels and in barriques.
