The red wine cuvée Lust & Life by Paul Achs consists of the typical vines of Burgenland such as Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch and Sankt Laurent. These grow near the village of Gols in Burgenland, which is located on the north-eastern part of Lake Neusiedl. There are ideal conditions for the cultivation of dry red wines, which this beautiful specimen shows.
The Lust & Life combines spice, power, fruit and elegance. By aging in used barriques and up to 3400 liter oak barrels, these characteristics are best worked out.
This fine red wine from Paul Achs, by the way a 5/5 star winery in the magazine Falstaff, can be served cold at around 15° Celsius and goes well with summer salads, pasta, white meat and milder cheeses. The wine is organic farmed and is also vegan.
