The le Campette used to be Raina's Montefalco Rosso. Since the winery no longer wanted to be slowed down by the DOC regulations, it is now declared as Umbria Rosso. As usual, it consists of biodynamically grown 70% Sangiovese, 15% Merlot and 15% Sagrantino, which after fermentation with natural yeasts are stored for 24 months in large wooden barrels and thus mature to the best harmony. In order to preserve all of its natural aromas, it is neither refined nor filtered. This full-bodied red wine combines structuring tannins with lots of juicy fruit. We really enjoy Raina's le Campette.
