The red Languedoc Reserve AOP by Paul Mas contains the traditional grape varieties of the Mediterranean coast, Carignan, Grenache and Syrah. 40% is aged in oak barrels, the remaining in steel tanks before the final cuvée is made. The wine impresses with the typical flavor of southern France, its soft Mediterranean character with intense fruit and the very round tannins finds a wide audience. In addition, it is charming, without the relatively high sugar content, which one unfortunately finds too often in many wines these days. The wine has less than 2.0 g / L residual sugar!
Gastronomically, it is an all-rounder, it has enough body to keep up with intense dishes and is so supple that it hardly dominates a dish. A great wine at the usual high level of this winery.
The Paul Mas Estate wines are produced from vineyards of the Nicole winery near Pézenas and / or the Château Paul Mas in Conas.
