Champagne Lallier was founded in 1906 in Aÿ, whose vineyards are classified as Crand Cru. The R.019 from Lallier takes its name from "R" for Recolté (harvest) and the .019 for the mainly used 2019 vintage, which was of course supplemented with older reserve wines to achieve a more complex aromatic picture.
The Lallier Champagne Brut R.019 has a light yellow color, the bubbles rise finely and constantly. Its scent is reminiscent of citrus fruits and white-fleshed fruits such as vineyard peaches and apples, plus a fine note of brioche, which is characteristic of Champagne. Its taste is precise, fresh and yet smooth; the fruit and yeast notes of the fragrance can be found in the long-lasting finish.
