The Kozlovic Valle is a fresh type of white wine made from the Istrian Malvazija grape and the immigrant Sauvignon Blanc. The two grape varieties complement each other well, the former provides fullness and the Sauvignon provides aroma and freshness.
The vines are in Valle, a location that surrounds the winery. Here too, the wine is carefully harvested by hand and then fermented in stainless steel tanks.
The Valle from Kozlovic has an intense scent, very Sauvignon-like, reminiscent of grass, elderflowers and gooseberries, plus citrus fruits such as grapefruit, oranges and a note that is reminiscent of dried culinary herbs. On the palate it is lively and dry, with rather low acidity. It shows a lot of freshness, but also has body and a touch of saltiness. A very stimulating wine that is extremely drinkable.
The best way to enjoy the Kozlovic Valley is with fish and seafood, vegetable dishes, fresh cheeses or simply on its own.
