The Malvazija is the most important and best-selling wine of the Kozlovic family. It comes from the three vineyards Valle, Santa Lucia and Contarini and is partly made from grapes from vines that are over 60 years old. This gives this smooth white wine from Istria aromatic depth and tension. The harvest is done by hand and the aging takes place in steel tanks and takes around seven months.
The Kozlovic Malvazija has a light color with delicate golden reflections. Its foreign scent is reminiscent of ripe yellow fruits, pineapples, white flowers and a touch of wet stones. On the palate it delights with its soft fullness, without making the wine seem broad. The fruit is always accompanied by freshness and a salty minerality that makes you want another glass. A very delicate white wine made from the local Malvazija Istriana grape variety. Anyone who has had it in their glass understands its high popularity. If you don't know him, you've missed something!
This wine can be used in many ways. It accompanies dishes from the sea excellently; rice and pasta dishes go well with it, as do white meat and poultry, vegetables and Asian dishes that are not too spicy. It is also simply delicious as an aperitif.
