The Il Rabdomante is the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo "Cru" from Feudi Bizantini, a winery known for its brilliant winemaking. This full-bodied red wine shows the full potential of the Montepulciano grape variety, which was underestimated for a long time and is held in high esteem today, not least because of wines like this one.
After careful selection of the grapes, fermentation takes place in steel tanks, then Il Rabdomante matures for twelve months in French and American oak barriques. The result is a spicy and powerful, but at the same time very smooth red wine, as the tannins are almost completely covered by the fruit intensity.
The Il Rabdomante by Feudi Bizantini glows ruby red in the glass. The scent almost jumps out at you, the wine is intense, fruity, notes of dried herbs, flowers and cherries can be found. The taste is characterized by the opulence of this wine, dresses the palate with its fruit and the spicy wood aroma, but also has structure and shines with a very long-lasting aftertaste.
Serve it best with intense dishes such as holiday roasts, game, stews and mature hard cheeses. Of course, it performs just as well as a meditation wine, for example in front of the fireplace.
