Broglia is a winery in Piedmont, mainly known for its delicious and high-quality Gavi wines. It was founded in 1972 by Bruno Broglia and is still family-owned today.
The Gavi del Comune di Gavi or Gavi di Gavi "Villa Broglia" for short is an incredibly engaging wine. It is carefully harvested by hand and sorted again before gentle pressing in order to use only the best grape material for this wine. It is fermented and aged in steel tanks; the aim is to achieve the greatest possible clarity and fresh fruit.
The Gavi di Gavi Villa Broglia has a beautiful clarity, aromas of almonds and a fine mineral touch. On the one hand, it's so incredibly delicious that you want to drink it straight away just thinking about it. On the other hand, it is also demanding, powerful, fresh and playful.
The Villa Broglia is a little more expensive than many basic Gavi from other producers, but it is also superior and really good and therefore worth every cent. Try it with antipasti, fish and summer salads, it is also very suitable for poultry and vegetable dishes such as casseroles.
