The Fleurie Mademoiselle M is the fruity variant of Clos de MEZ. It is the entry-level model, so to speak, which conveys a lot of drinking pleasure even at a young age, in contrast to the others Crus from the winery that take longer. Certainly not worse, just different in style.
The wine is intensely colored, with a pleasantly spicy scent reminiscent of pepper and cherries. Despite its youth, it already shows a lot of charm and an enchanting fruit. The rule here is: looks young, but can also stand a few years in the bottle.
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate has a tasting note for the Fleurie Mademoiselle vintage 2018. Quote: "Offering up inviting aromas of raspberries, cherries, plums and hints of warm spices, the 2018 Fleurie Mademoiselle M. is medium to full-bodied, velvety and succulent, with a deep core of crunchy, vibrant fruit that's framed by powdery, melting tannins. Conceived as a more gourmand, immediate cuvée for the domaine, it's the most approachable wine in the range. 90/100".
