The Erial TF, which stands for Tradition Familia, comes from 80-year-old Tinto Fino vines, as the Tempranillo is called in the Ribera del Duero. This complex and profound red wine matured for eighteen months in 85% French and 15% American barriques.
This wine is the top product from Bodegas Epifanio Rivera. The color of the Tradition Familia Erial is dark red with a violet tint. The scent is open and reminiscent of ripe dark berries, plums and figs, as well as notes of vanilla, pepper and ink. On the palate it impresses with its concentration and excellent balance; the tannins are ripe and give the wine a wonderful bite.
