The blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah is stored 50% in new oak barrels, which is anything but a matter of course in this category and means a lot of money for the winemaker. This creates an enchanting red with melting, intense aroma and a certain noblesse. The barrique is noticeable through roasted notes and vanilla, along with herbs, cassis, blackberries and a hint of green pepper. An incredibly beautiful wine that should actually cost a lot more.
