The Domaine Trapet has been working organically for several years and only uses very small amounts of sulfur. It is a pioneer in this field in Burgundy.
The Gevrey-Chambertin Villages Cuvée takes its name from the oyster Ostrea Acuminata, which can be found fossilized in the vineyards here. The oldest vines in these locations provide the grapes for this delicious Pinot Noir. A plot for this wine was planted in 1913. The Ostrea is the best Gevrey-Chambertin Village Cuvée from Domaine Trapet.
