The Tokaji Aszu 5 Puttonyos from Disznokö is aged for 20 months in 225L oak barrels. It has a clear bortrytis note and its scent is reminiscent of ripe apricots. It is very concentrated on the palate, the whopping 156 g/l residual sugar is perfectly balanced by the wine's grippy structure. A first-class Tokaji, at the forefront of the 5 Puttonyos wines.
Wine Enthusiast gives it 96/100 and writes: "This Tokaji is dark amber in color, with aromas of honeysuckle, peach and acacia flower. In the mouth there are flavors of clover honey, pear and baked sweet apples. Acidity is well balanced to the amount of sweetness."
