The Ronco Nole by Di Lenardo is a red wine cuvée made from the four red grape varieties that the winery is growing with great success. This wine has been made since 1993.
The gentle Merlot is 50% of the blend, the other two parts are made up of the spicy varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc and the Friulian Refosco. After fermentation in steel tanks, the Ronco Nole is aged in American barriques for twelve months, which gives it the finishing touch. The charm of this red di Lenardo wine dominates the palate, the tannins are soft, the oak gives this round Friulian a nice spiciness.
The Ronco Nole has an intense ruby red color. Aromatically it is reminiscent of plums, red berries, cocoa and vanilla. On the palate it shows itself with a smooth fullness, the tannins are soft, all in all a wonderfully round and intense taste impression that ends in a long-lasting finale.
Try it with duck and goose, red meat, pasta al ragu, white soft cheese or mushroom dishes.
