The Domaine de Thalabert is one, if not the classic among the wines from Crozes-Hermitage. The domain has belonged to Paul Jaboulet-Ainé since 1834. Like all high-quality wines of the house, it can age very well and for a long time. The Thalabert always has a solid structure and is complex and exciting. It has been certified organic for several years.

The 2017 vintage was "outstanding" (Parker) in the northern Rhône, with powerful and structured wines that will have a long life.

Falstaff (AT) magazine awards 93+/100 for the 2017 Crozes-Hermitage Domaine de Thalabert by Jaboulet in October 2022 and writes: "Cherry and plum, slightly jammy, milk chocolate, something too Malt and mineral tones. In the mouth, the wine has a high density, fine-grained tannins, a supple base with well-integrated alcohol, and a good juiciness on the finish. It's only just beginning to unfold."

Joe Czerwinski from Robert Parker's Wine Advocate rates this wine with 92/100 and is very impressed by the full body and the aromas of liquorice, plum and cassis.
