2021 is a rather cool and very fine vintage in a classic style in the northern Rhône Valley. Wines as they were common in the 1980s and 90s. The Crozes-Hermitage rouge 2021 les Alexandrins is crystal clear, precise and very elegant. the wine aged in oak barrels for 10 months and a further 6 months in steel tanks before being bottled and shipped. The lively freshness and the very precise and ripe tannins inspire us here. An enchanting "Cool Climate" Syrah with aging potential.
The Alexandrins Crozes-Hermitage 2021 has a bright ruby-violet colour. The scent shows the cool freshness of the vintage and seductive notes of ripe red fruits. On the palate it is clear, lively and precise, in perfect balance and with animating aromas of black pepper and liquorice in the final. A Syrah full of finesse, fresh and elegant.
Serve this wine best with medium-intensive dishes such as pan-fried meat, poultry, pasta, everything with mushrooms and for summer barbecues.
