Due to the relatively high location of the town of Visan, the Domaine Coste Chaude decided to use a significant proportion of white grape varieties, as the somewhat cooler locations are ideal for white wine because they provide freshness.< /p>
The Trilogie Côtes-du-Rhône Villages Visan consists of a third each of Grenache Blanc, Roussanne and Viognier. The yeast storage for several months gives this wine additional structure and stability. 80% of the wine is matured in steel tanks and 20% in five hectoliter wooden barrels.
Since we can't put it any better, here's the quote from the very competent wine blog Schnutentunker.de: "Trilogy 2019 is the white wine that I already know from Germany, a great, complex white wine made from Grenache blanc, Roussanne and Viognier beautiful fruit and melting, spicy-phenolic grip, good freshness, suitable alcohol. Powerful and extremely exciting - this can probably mature for a long time and well."
