The correct name of this Grand Cru monopoly is Corton Clos des Cortons Faiveley. It is therefore one of only two Grand Crus in Burgundy that bear the owner's name in the designation. This wine is one of the most important flagships of Domaine Faiveley. It has been the sole owner since 1874, pure tradition. The oldest surviving vines were planted here in 1932, which means a lot of depth through the old Pinot Noirs.

The 2017 vintage was one of the earliest harvests on record. It is of classic elegance, but with ripe tannins, which allows you to enjoy it quite early. However, this does not detract from the shelf life. Black cherries and spices characterize its aroma, on the palate it is long, grippy, deep and super elegant.
