The Clos Triguedina is, in a sense, the Grand Vin, if you want to compare Bordeaux, from Jean-Luch Baldès' winery. It comes from vines that are at least 30 years old, with the traditional Cahors vine, Malbec, dominating at 85%. There are also 10% Merlot and 5% Tannat. The aging in French oak takes twelve months.
Clos Trigurdina is one of the leading wineries in Cahors, the quality is very consistent at the highest level, the wines are considered long-lasting and become more and more subtle in the bottle.
