Clos de l’Oratiore is one of the Neipperg wineries in Saint Emilion. For years, Stephan Graf von Neipperg has been producing wines here that get the most out of this terroir. These efforts were rewarded with the upgrade to Grand Cru Classé during the reclassification in 2012.
The Clos de l’Oratoire shines with its Merlot charm and silky tannins. It's a lot of fun to drink even at an early age, but it also ages very well, as this excellent wine from the 2010 vintage vintage impressively demonstrates. The 2010 vintage has an unusually high proportion of Merlot of 95% and had 75% new barriques when aged.
