Cicotto 21 Colto Vitato Gutturnio Riserva Romagnoli: An exciting and characterful red wine from Emilia Romagna.

The Cicotto 21 Colto Vitato Gutturnio Riserva Romagnoli is a rich and intense red wine from the Italian region of Emilia Romagna. It is made from the grape varieties Barbera (55%) and Bonarda (45%), also called Croatina, and matures for 14 months in barriques, some of which are new and some of which are old were occupied for the second time. The vines grow in the Gutturino DOC designation of origin, which has been independent since 2011, west of the city of Piacenza.

The Cicotto 21 Colto Vitato Gutturnio Riserva Romagnoli has a deep, ruby red color. Aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherries and plums develop in the nose, along with aromas such as leather and licorice. On the palate it is powerful and quite opulent, the fine tannins provide just the right structure for the fruit in the long and harmonious finish. A red wine full of character, first-class and typical of its grape varieties and origin.

The Cicotto 21 Colto Vitato Gutturnio Riserva Romagnoli goes excellently with grilled meat, game, stews and hard and semi-hard cheeses.
