The white wine from Château Talbot from Saint-Julien is called Caillou blanc. It is one of the best white wines in the Médoc.

Georges Cordier, grandfather of the current owners, was one of the white wine pioneers in the Médoc and planted Sauvignon Blanc and some Sémillon in the 1930s. This wine today benefits from this tradition and knowledge. The Caillou Blanc grows on 5.2 hectares and consists of vines that are on average around 45 years old, ¾ of which are Sauvignon Blanc. The wine is aged in barriques, of which around 30% are new per vintage.

The Caillou Blanc has a distinct personality, is aromatic and lively thanks to the Sauvignon Blanc, has complex depth due to the old vines and can also be stored for a long time.

A great white wine from the red wine-heavy Médoc that goes ideal with shellfish, wild birds or sushi.
