2005 was a great vintage in Bordeaux, wines from highly ripe grapes, but also with a beautiful tannin structure. The opulent 2005 Château Canon-La-Gaffeliere was developed with a whopping 80% new cask content and consists of 55% Merlot. 35% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate gives the 2005 Canon-la-Gaffeliere 94/100 points.
