Château Belair-Monange was developed by the Moueix family into a high-end Saint-Emilion that can compete with the best wines from this renowned AOC. A lot has been invested in vineyards and cellars and only the best plots from the former Châteaux Belair and Magdelaine are used for Belair-Monange.
The location is excellent, Belair-Monange is next to the famous Chateau Ausone, and there is also a plot of land with vines that are over 100 years old, which provide depth and substance.
At Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate, the 2012 Belair-Monange is rated with an incredible 95+/100 points.
