The Wageck Chardonnay Links from Sülzner Weg 2021, the "Links" was a new addition, is characterized by the finesse of the rather cooler year. Nevertheless, his grapes were very ripe, as can be seen from the 13.5% alcohol. It has a lot of play in the scent, is reminiscent of yellowish fruits, has a spicy woody note and also floral and herbal nuances. On the palate it is full and firm at the same time, the long finish shows a bright minerality, the wine has a lot of tension and freshness.
Falstaff magazine gives this an impressive 91-93/100 and writes in November 2023: "Smell of delicate smoke, some vanilla, quince, apple, garden herbs, nice spice, rock dust and tangerine zest. On the palate with lively acidity, some vanilla again, tightly built, mineral base, a hint of hazelnut, fine creaminess, good structure and length."
