The Ceps Nous from Celler Pasanau comes from the younger vine plantations of the winery. Fullness, softness and fruit are sought here, both main grape varieties, Garnacha and Merlot contribute to this character.
The Ceps Nous Pasanau has a dark color with a slight violet tint. Its scent is reminiscent of ripe dark berries, plums, Mediterranean herbs and elderberries, with a delicate roasted note from the used barriques. On the palate it is emphatically opulent and juicy, has a very good extract and soft tannins that support the long-lasting finish. A charming Priorat to enjoy as soon as it hits the market.
The 2020 vintage has a high proportion of Merlot at 41%, the main proportion is still Garnacha Negra, plus 4% other grape varieties.
A perfect red wine for grilled dishes, dark meat and wintry stews.
