The Cava Rosado Brut from Mont Marcal is made from the rare Catalan grape variety Trepat, which is particularly well suited for the production of sparkling wines due to its stable acid structure. Bottle fermentation lasts nine to twelve months including storage time. Only then will this cava be sold.
The Mont Marcal Rosado brut is an ideal aperitif, but it also goes very well with fish dishes, soft cheeses and white meat dishes. It shows aromas of blackberries, plums and figs, it is lively and elegant on the palate at the same time, and with its only 11.5% alcohol it also has a pleasant drinking flow.
A good value, high quality rosé cava. It received a bronze medal at the Decanter Award tasting in 2018 and 2019.
