The Domaine Aimé Blouzard is the young winery of the also young winemaker Rémi Desmaris, who took over his grandfather's five hectares of vineyards in 2016 and began marketing the wines himself. Today he cultivates 9.5 hectares of vines in Maconnais, in southern Burgundy.

The areas are organically farmed and are planted with the grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Gamay. The bull on the label is a reminder of his grandfather's stable, which houses the current winery.

The Bourgogne rouge from Aimé Blouzard comes from a 0.75 hectare vineyard that is 100% planted with Pinot Noir. The first vintage of this wine was 2019. The 2022 edition is characterized by the ripe fruit of this excellent vintage, it smells of black cherries, tobacco and has a delicate wood note in the background. On the palate it shows good concentration, supported by silky tannins, which keep the wine refreshingly fresh. A beautiful and decently priced red burgundy. Insider tip!
