The vineyards for the Bourgogne Hautes Cotes de Nuits of the Domaine Dominique Guyon are located in the village of Meuilley, not far from the famous Burgundy community of Nuits-Saint-Georges. On a south-facing slope, the Pinot Noir finds good ripening conditions, which is reflected in this very good Burgundy. The soft tannins indicate very good grape ripeness, the wood is in the background of this extract-rich wine, even though it spent 12 months maturing in wooden barrels. A charmingbourgogne with class.
