One of the best red wines in Austria. The Comondor from Nittnaus is made from Merlot, Blaufränkisch and Cabernet Sauvignon, all of which are grown on exactly the right soil to deliver the best results.
Falstaff magazine is very impressed and awards 94/100 to the Comondor 2016. Quote: "Dark ruby garnet, violet reflections, delicate edge lightening. Ripe heart cherries, nuances of plums, orange zest, fine herbal spices, a touch of precious wood. Taut, has a powerful effect, red cherries, integrated tannins, pleasant freshness, some nougat, mineral finish, will benefit from ripeness, nougat in the aftertaste."
