Pfaffl likes to plant the St. Laurent near the forest so that the cool air there delays the ripening process and the vines have more time to develop aromas. This is how this wine got its name. Here you will find aromas of plums (typical of St. Laurent), blackberries and strawberries, plus a fine spicy note. Quite plump on the palate, soft tannins and low acidity, again the fruity aromas of the fragrance, medium body and with good length in the final. A very nice red that has no problems with stronger dishes.
