The Sangiovese variety plays only a secondary role in the Abruzzo region, but the quality can be quite impressive. Farnese produces a lovely and round red wine with an intense cherry fruit and a hint of raspberry. On the palate, the Caldora Sangiovese is soft and very well balanced, a multi-functional round red , which adapts itself to many dishes and is a real bargain.
